Magical Cornwall with John & Katarina Hawken 2025
John Hawken’s Magical Cornwall Path of Pilgrimage is back!
The old Celtic power places of Cornwall are full of magic. In these places the world outside touches our inner world as we are moved by their beauty and powerful atmosphere. They open in us gateways of awakening and awareness.
As we spend time in stillness and meditation in such sacred sites we come into contact with our dreams and what we deeply long to realize in our lives.
We will visit stone circles, a birthing and rebirthing stone, sacred wells and a 2500-year old initiation chamber, which is dedicated to the Celtic earth goddess. We will walk along the cliffs above the Atlantic, climb the granite cairns up on the moors and stroll through rhododendron woods.
During the day, we will be out in the landscape, in the evenings we will explore its echoes in our inner landscape with the help of meditation, creativity, medicine wheel and shamanic rituals.
The peaceful beauty of Rosemerrynwood, built on the site of an iron age fort next to an underground temple, is the ideal setting for an inspiring holiday for body, mind and soul.
On the way down to Cornwall we will visit Glastonbury, ancient Avalon, with the Tor, Abbey and Chalice Well, and on the next day Boscastle with its neolithic labyrinth now known as the symbol of the Paths of Transformation.
